The Badgers are a successful and experienced Jazz and Roots Act based in the United Kingdom.
They have merged the traditional styles of Gypsy Jazz, Blues, Bluegrass, Celtic, Western Swing and Folk, to create their own unique and recognisable sound.
James Hickman and Chris Quinn, the founder members, play as an acoustic guitar and vocals duo, expanding to a trio and quartet adding violin and / or double bass.The Badgers have demonstrated acoustic amplification on the Marshall Roadshow and shared bills with Ruby Turner, Gary Potter, The Hamsters, The Chris George band and others. The Badgers also play internationally and perform on a regular basis with violin legend, Dan Cassidy.
Recent tours include Germany, the USA, Ireland and Iceland.
